About Us
Our Mission
The Charlotte County Veterans Council (CCVC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of veterans in Charlotte County. We work in partnership with local, state, and national social service and public welfare agencies to ensure veterans have access to the resources and support they deserve.

CCVC also serves as a central point of information for veterans, sharing details about programs, services, and events that benefit veterans, their families, and surviving spouses. In addition, we foster Americanism and patriotism by organizing, coordinating, and participating in community parades, educational initiatives, social gatherings, and patriotic observances.

Our Story
Founded in 2005, the Charlotte County Veterans Council (CCVC) was established to serve as a unified voice and support network for veterans in our community. Recognizing that many veterans and their families face complex challenges after military service, CCVC was created to bridge gaps in services, coordinate local resources, and ensure no veteran stands alone. From its inception, CCVC has remained committed to enhancing the quality of life for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Through strategic partnerships, volunteer leadership, and direct service initiatives, the Council delivers comprehensive, solution-oriented support designed to address practical, financial, and emotional needs.

Together, we strengthen our community by supporting those who have served.
