OUR MISSION:
The mission of the Citrus County Veterans Coalition is to establish, maintain, operate, promote, advise, and provide professional legislative and social services to military veterans, widows and widowers of veterans in and around Citrus County, Florida. It is our purpose to maintain an organization of veterans speaking as one voice for the benefit of all veterans.

Our FOOD BANK for Citrus County Veterans & their families is open every Tues & Thurs from 0900 hrs to1300 hrs. It is located at our Headquarters, 1039 N. Paul Drive, Inverness, just 1 short block west of South US 41.We have plenty of dry, canned and frozen goods for those in need. Just drop by, fill out a basic information sheet for our records, show your DD-214 and other picture identification, and you're all set. We have a nice variety of cereals, rice, canned vegetables, soups, frozen bread and meats. We understand how difficult it may be to ask for help, and the compassion you'll find with our volunteers will quickly help put you at ease.

Our LAST YARD SALE/FLEA MARKET OF THE 2011-2012 SEASON is just around the corner! Don't miss it on SATURDAY, MAY 12!!
From September through May, we hold our yard sale/flea market on the 2nd Sat of the month from 0600 hrs to 1330 hrs at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, South US 41, in Inverness. Do you have something to sell? Reserve your spot in advance and get all the information you need by calling Richard Floyd at (727) 492-0292 at least 1 week in advance. Please prepay your reservation, because after 0700 on SALE DAY, only prepaid spots will be saved. These spots are filling up! Call today!

Not into selling? Would you rather SHOP? We will see YOU there, then! We have typically had a good turnout of both sellers and buyers, and some great values to be had as well! Tools, household items, clothing, artwork, jewelry, crafts and more are just waiting for you to purchase them. Hungry? We even have a hot dog vendor on site! Come on out and enjoy the day!
