
At the last General Meeting it was voted that the General Monthly Meetings would not be held for June, July or August 2011. Members are encouraged to attend the Board of Director Meetings on the second Thursday monthly at the DAV in Inverness (1039 N Paul Dr). In Sept 2011 The General Meeting will resume.
Richard Floyd, Chairman of the Veterans Coalition was recently seen on "Every Day Is A Gift" sponsored by HPH Hospice. Hostess, Wendy Hall has invited a veterans representative to speak on the show on a routine basis in 2011! If you have a veterans topic you think would be of interest to the community, contact Cynthia Holden_628-6481 who schedules the veteran guests. "Every Day Is A Gift" is viewed on WYKE Channel 16 and Bright House, every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm and Friday at 10:00am.

CCVC’s 6th Annual Veterans Forum is here! The Citrus County Veterans Coalition’s (CCVC) sponsors the Annual Veterans Forum with Key Note Speaker Major John Haynes from the Florida Veterans Foundation, Joe Meek - County Commissioner, Beverly Gentry - Military History Project, Wendy Hall - HPH Hospice, and Scott Kibler - Veterans Benefit Attorney. Also there will be informational tables from groups pertaining to veteran’s information.
The Citrus County Veterans Coalition (CCVC) invites all honorably discharged veterans, their spouse, widows and widowers along with other veteran’s organizations and current coalition members to our open business meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the DAV Building located at 1039 N. Paul Dr. Inverness just off Hwy 41.
